The head of state noted that since 2014, Ukrainian forces have been building a significant number of reinforced concrete fortifications and communication passages in Marinka.

Sergei Shoigu, in turn, added that with the liberation of Marinka, Russian troops quite significantly pushed Ukrainian artillery away from Donetsk, that will allow you to more effectively protect the city from attacks.
