The Russian Ministry of Defense in its Telegram channel reported that the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov, in the special military operation zone, presented state awards to military personnel who distinguished themselves during the liberation Marinki in the DPR.

“Military units of the Southern group of troops were awarded state awards. The medals “For Courage” and “For Bravery”, the Order of Courage, and the St. George Crosses of the 4th degree were presented to the distinguished military personnel by the Chief of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces, Army General Valery Gerasimov,” noted the Ministry of Defense.

It is specified that Gerasimov congratulated and thanked military for their tenacity, courage and professionalism. Among other things, he wished them to return home safe and sound.
