MOSCOW, January 12 Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate are establishing the circumstances of an accident involving a route bus and a car in Orel, as a result of which six passengers were injured, the press service of the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported.
“Today at 13:45 in the city of Orel on the Naugorskoe highway there was an accident involving a route bus and a car… According to preliminary information, the driver of a Skoda Octavia… lost control, allowing him to enter the oncoming lane movement, as a result of which there was a collision with a GAZ vehicle, the report says.
According to the police, as a result of the accident, six GAZ passengers were injured, including one minor born in 2014, they were taken to a hospital institution in an ambulance with bodily injuries of varying severity.
The regional prosecutor's office noted that the prosecutor of the Sovetsky district of Orel went to the scene to coordinate the actions of law enforcement agencies. “The prosecutor's office checks compliance with legislation in the field of road safety and organization of passenger transportation,” the department clarified.
