A former lecturer at a technology college in Singapore was jailed for almost six months for showing porn to a 12-year-old boy. This was reported by CNA.

According to media reports, the incident occurred in the early summer of 2023. The man worked as a teacher at one of the colleges of the Institute of Technical Training. On June 8, he saw a 12-year-old child at a bus stop and followed him. He entered the house with the teenager, followed him into the elevator and pressed the button for the 12th floor.

When the elevator began to move, the man turned on an 18+ video on his phone and showed it to the child. The boy tried to turn away, but the pervert began to bring the gadget to his face. On the eighth floor, the teenager came out and the man tried to hold him back. Arriving home, the child told his mother about everything, and she contacted the police.

As soon as this information reached the college management, the teacher was immediately fired. It is known that his students were young people aged 17 to 25.

The man was sentenced on January 16 of this year. He was sentenced to five months and two weeks in prison. The lawyer argued that his client was severely depressed at the time of the crime, but the court did not accept this argument.
