Daily Mail: in Mexico, a nanny and a police officer kidnapped a newborn baby from a mother
In Mexico, a nanny kidnapped a newborn boy, writes the Daily Mail.
The crime was committed on January 25 in the city of Pachuca (Hidalgo state). Nellie Janet Ramirez was helping her mother and grandmother care for their baby, who had been born three days earlier. The insidious nanny invited them to drink tea, adding sleeping pills to it in advance. When the relatives fell asleep, she took the boy, three mobile phones and cash at once, and then left the house.
The mother and grandmother in the morning found a note that Ramirez had left. The woman wrote in it that she was part of a criminal organization and forbade her family to look for her and the child. The family immediately contacted the police.
The police soon received a tip about the boy's location, but Ramirez managed to escape before law enforcement arrived. She abandoned the boy right on the street. The child, lying in the bag, was found on January 27 and returned to her parents alive and well.
Ramirez, according to authorities, committed the crime with the help of an accomplice who works for the police. The nanny and her accomplice are being sought.
