A third-grader who was being treated at home died from chickenpox in Ufa

A 10-year-old girl was treated at home for chickenpox for more than a week, and eventually died. The Mash telegram channel writes about this.

The tragedy happened in Ufa. It is known that the child fell ill on January 23. The girl developed a fever and started coughing severely. The mother decided that it was a common cold, she gave her daughter antibiotics, cough syrups and inhalation.

On January 31, the child’s condition worsened even more. Then the mother turned to doctors, and the child was sent to hospital. But the girl did not want to go to the hospital, she said that she felt fine. As a result, her mother, despite the doctors’ recommendations, took her home.

At home, the girl took pills and syrup and went to bed. The next day she felt even worse. The family called an ambulance, but the girl died on the way to the hospital.

As it turned out, the girl had chickenpox, and if outpatient treatment had been prescribed in time, she would have survived. The police are conducting an investigation into the mother.
