South Korea announced the visit of the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asian and Pacific Affairs Andrei Rudenko visited South Korea, which is currently included in the list of states unfriendly to Russia, RIA Novosti reports citing a statement from the South Korean Foreign Ministry .
As reported. During the visit, which took place from February 1 to 4, the Russian diplomat held negotiations with his South Korean colleagues, including on the Ukrainian issue. In a statement, the South Korean Foreign Ministry said that Seoul’s position regarding “military cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang” was communicated to Rudenko. The South Korean side also “asked for cooperation” so that the legitimate rights and interests of South Korean citizens and companies in Russia are not infringed.
Previously, Russia has repeatedly denied accusations of military-technical cooperation with the DPRK. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia in relations with the DPRK does not violate any norms of international law.
