Recently it became known about the arrest of a man accused of raping a 15-year-old fellow traveler. A 27-year-old young man was traveling with two schoolgirls in the same compartment of the Surgut-Ekaterinburg train in October last year. How this became possible was examined by the E1.RU portal.

The publication noted that, according to the rules of Russian Railways, children can travel unaccompanied by adults from the age of 10, and in some cases even earlier.

< p>At the same time, neither the law nor the rules of Russian Railways have restrictions on who a minor passenger can live with and with whom he cannot.

Lawyer Andrei Konyshev also commented on the situation. In his opinion, placing an adult man with underage girls is idiotic from the point of view of common sense.

However, no one is simply puzzled by this question when buying tickets. The trains have compartments for men and women. It is unknown why the girls were not traveling in this kind of car, maybe there were no tickets, maybe there were some other reasons, the expert added.

Recall that the prosecution claims that the man raped one of the girls, in relation to the second “ committed other acts of a sexual nature with the use of violence.” The detainee himself denies everything.
