As NHK TV channel reports, on the morning of February 8, at the Japanese Tsuruga nuclear power plant, located in the west of the island of Honshu, smoke was noticed.
It is specified that smoke is observed in the area of the turbine compartment at the first power unit of the nuclear power plant.
