MOSCOW, February 8 Former soloist of the Mirage group Natalya Gulkina, in an interview with Prozvezd dedicated to her 60th birthday, complained that she receives a small pension.
In the conversation, Gulkina immediately stated that she was a “working pensioner.”
““It’s impossible to live on the few thousand rubles that they counted for me for my length of service. A large pension is a mirage!” — said the singer.
The former member of the legendary group of the 80s added that she does not have the title of Honored and People's Artist, which is why she does not receive a pension supplement.
According to Gulkina, she began collecting documents several times to receive the title, but “she never reached the finals,” and did not ask anyone.
“»You can say all sorts of lofty words as much as you like, but in reality everything is measured by money. And I need to feed not only myself, but also 11 cats, most of which I picked up on the street. I also have two large aquariums at home with fish. This is my little paradise,” the celebrity shared.
Natalia Gulkina performed in the Mirage group from 1986 to 1988. During this time, she took part in the recording of such songs as “Sunny Summer”, “Mad World”, “I Don’t Want” and some others.
In 2004, Gulkina, together with Margarita Sukhankina, “revived” the famous project. However, in 2011, amid disagreements with colleagues, the performer left the group again and began a solo career.
