CHELYABINSK, February 7 The Chelyabinsk Chamber Theater has canceled the upcoming performances staged based on Lyudmila Ulitskaya’s play “My Grandson Veniamin,” the institution reported on its website.

So, on February 14, instead of the play “My Grandson Benjamin” We will play «Paradise» on March 6 instead of the play «My Grandson Benjamin» we will play “8 loving women,” the publication says.
Tickets purchased in advance will be valid for other theater performances, but they can also be returned at the point of purchase.

Lyudmila Ulitskaya — writer and translator, the first woman to win the Russian Booker Prize and winner of the Big Book Award.
In January, the writer admitted in a conversation with pranksters that she transfers royalties from her books sold in Russia to Ukraine. After this, the AST publishing house suspended the payment of Ulitskaya's fees, and many theaters removed performances based on her works from their repertoire.
