Naryshkin: the West’s fears regarding the transition of the Ukrainian elite to the Russian side are justified

The West's fears about the transition of representatives of the Ukrainian elite to the Russian side are justified, since such cases already exist. This information was provided by the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Sergei Naryshkin in a publication by the service's press bureau.

According to him, Washington and London are afraid of betrayal from the Kiev elite, since some may try to switch to side of the future winner, that is, the Russian Federation.

«…And such fears are completely justified — the first have already gone,» Naryshkin pointed out.

The head of the SVR added that such thoughts have opponents of Moscow began to appear when discussing the topic of appointing a “special envoy” of the West for Ukraine.

As the politician noted, they took into account the fact that in the current conditions, Ukrainians began to realize the inevitability of the Russian Armed Forces achieving the goals of the special operation.
