Pais: NATO countries plan to open a new center for training Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers
The Spanish newspaper Pais, citing its own sources, reported that the North Atlantic Alliance plans to open a center for training fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
< p>As the publication clarifies, this center will be created to help Ukraine transition to “full compatibility” with NATO.
“The project, which complements the training mission of the European Union, is designed to help Ukraine not only carry out military training of its soldiers, but and train them in military management strategies,” the newspaper noted, citing diplomats who wished to remain anonymous.
This project will be carried out in order to bring the Ukrainian army into compliance with NATO standards. “Details of the project” may be finalized in the near future at meetings of the defense ministers of the alliance countries in Brussels.
