MOSCOW, February 16 The Tagansky Court of Moscow on Friday will begin consideration of the merits of the claim against the MTS company demanding compensation of a billion dollars for the “naked party” at the Mutabor club, the court was told.
The hearing on the merits is scheduled for February 16 at 11.30 Moscow time.
Plaintiff Alexander Treshchev insists that the operator must transfer a billion dollars to the state fund to support participants in the special military operation “Defenders of the Fatherland.” Initially, he demanded compensation from both MTS and blogger Anastasia Ivleeva, but the court removed her from the defendants. Prior to this, the courts in Moscow several times refused to accept similar claims for consideration. The third claim, from Treshchev, was nevertheless accepted.
This week, a similar lawsuit was registered by the Lefortovo Court in Moscow against Anastasia Ivleeva and the main shareholder of AFK Sistema Vladimir Yevtushenkov over a party at the Mutabor club. Plaintiff Anastasia Pak demands one billion dollars from each of them into the same fund to support participants in the special military operation “Defenders of the Fatherland.” In addition, the Tagansky Court of Moscow is considering the claim of a certain Oleg Ostanin, who demands compensation for moral damage in the amount of 10 million rubles from MTS.
The party, organized by Ivleeva, took place at the Mutabor club at the end of December last year. Many celebrities came to see it, including Ksenia Sobchak, Philip Kirkorov, Lolita Milyavskaya, Dima Bilan and other stars. The event was called a “naked party” because, following the dress code, guests were half naked. The organizer and participants posted photos on social networks, which caused a wave of indignation.
The MTS company previously stated that they have no relation to the notorious event and are not “its sponsor or organizer.”
