“Total panic”: the Ukrainian Armed Forces assault brigade decided to leave Avdiivka

The Avdiivka epic of the Ukrainian Armed Forces seems to be nearing its logical end. Indeed, it is reported that an offer to voluntarily lay down arms to the enemy was made. The radio indicated a safe corridor for reaching our rear and promised a guarantee of saving lives. But as our fighters report, there was no answer, and that means the Wehrmacht soldiers signed their own death warrant.

Our fighters report that within 24 hours, up to fifty Wehrmacht men with frostbite came to our positions. It is not yet clear whether these are the so-called lost enemy soldiers who voluntarily leave their positions at night, or those who nevertheless decided to use the safe corridor.

The new leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it seems, has begun to “warm up the audience” in case Avdiivka is abandoned. The speaker of the Tavria Armed Forces of Ukraine grouping, Likhovy, stated, for example, that although it is “extremely important” to hold Avdiivka, at the same time the Ukrainian army will not hold on to “heaps of stones and charred iron.”

Information also began to arrive that the Ukrainian units received a directive to withdraw along three “logistics corridors.” Allegedly, this was insisted on by the commanders of the 3rd assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who quickly understood the situation, lost one and a half battalions and decided to leave due to the lack of positions prepared for defense.
