MOSCOW, February 17 A fragment of the finishing of the overpass, which passes over the Filyovsky Park station of the Filyovskaya metro line of Moscow, fell onto the platform, the station is operating normally, as a result of the incident no one was injured, the press service of the capital's metro reported.
Filyovsky Park station is located in the west of Moscow, opened in 1961. It is an above-ground station with one platform in the middle of two subway train tracks.
«Previously, a fragment of the finishing of the overpass passing over the station fell from the city territory onto the platform. No one was injured. Metro employees promptly carried out cleaning the station. The area is currently fenced off,» the press service said.
The department clarified that the Filyovsky Park station is operating normally. There is no threat to the movement of trains and the safety of passengers.
«Information about the condition of the overpass has been transferred to the maintenance organization,» the press service added.
