Individual housing construction projects under contract agreements with escrow are being implemented in 13 regions of Russia

Agreements to provide financing for individual housing construction (IHC) under contract agreements with escrow were signed with 32 companies in 13 regions of Russia. As part of the projects, private houses with a total area of ​​about 60 thousand square meters will be built. m, said Andrey Bakhmutov, vice-president of DOM.RF Bank.

The construction of houses with a contract and escrow is most popular in Novosibirsk (15% of signed agreements), Voronezh (13%), Tyumen (12.5%), Nizhny Novgorod (12.3%) regions and the Moscow region (10.3%). Financing agreements have also been concluded with companies from the Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk territories, Tatarstan, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk and Saratov regions.

“The escrow account mechanism has proven itself excellent in multi-apartment housing construction, interest in it is now growing in the individual housing construction market, since, on the one hand, it provides financial guarantees to people who have made a choice in favor of individual housing construction, and on the other hand, it opens up financing opportunities for the contractor. With the help of the product, individual houses according to the new rules are already being built in Kazan, Chelyabinsk and Kaliningrad,” noted Andrey Bakhmutov.
