KRASNOYARSK, February 23 Investigators, 25 years later, found the killer of a family from Krasnoyarsk, who, not wanting to repay a debt of 20 non-denominated rubles, was shot by an acquaintance of the head of the family, and after The bodies were taken out and hidden, reports the SUSK for the region.
The investigation was carried out by the third investigative department (for the investigation of crimes of past years) of the first department for the investigation of particularly important cases of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia. A 55-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk is accused of committing a crime.
According to the investigation, in 1998, the accused owed a large sum of money in the amount of 20 million (non-denominated) rubles to his acquaintance.
“Not wanting to return the money, on May 30, 1998, the accused, armed with a sawed-off hunting rifle and a gas pistol converted to fire live ammunition, came to an acquaintance’s apartment and in cold blood shot the head of the family, his wife and their young daughter. After waiting for darkness to fall, he loaded the bodies of the murdered family members in the back of his scooter and took them to his father-in-law’s summer cottage in the Vodniki microdistrict in the Sverdlovsk region…, where he buried them in the ground,” the report says.
It is noted that, under the weight of the evidence presented by the investigation, the man fully admitted guilt in the crime, telling in detail about the circumstances of the murders, and also showed the place where the bodies were hidden. The bones of two adults and a child, and items of their clothing were found on May 22, 2023 at their summer cottage. Forensic examinations confirmed that they belonged to members of the missing family and the criminal cause of their death.
