VLADIVOSTOK, February 26 Firefighters extinguish a fire with a total area of about 200 square meters in the warehouse of the Leroy Merlin construction hypermarket in the suburbs Vladivostok, there were no deaths or injuries, reports the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Primorsky Territory.
«»According to operational data, on January 26 at 10.55 (03.55 Moscow time) the fire and rescue service received a message about a warehouse fire in the city of Artem. Immediately Firefighters were dispatched to the scene. When firefighters arrived, a separate warehouse located on the territory of the hypermarket was burning from the inside. The total area is about 200 square meters. There are no deaths or injuries, there is no threat of spreading to neighboring buildings,” the rescue agency said in a statement.
It is noted that 10 units of fire equipment and 45 personnel were involved in the fire extinguishing.
“Prosecutor’s Office the city of Artyom monitored the progress and results of the inspection following a fire on the territory of a large shopping complex. The supervisory agency will monitor the establishment of the causes and circumstances of the incident, as well as the legality of the final decision based on the results of the inspection. City prosecutor Andrei Kambolin went to the scene,” the regional prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
