MOSCOW, February 27, Vasily Bogdanov. Former head coach of the football club «Krasnodar» Murad Musaev admitted that he reacted heavily to the news about the hospitalization of the Swedish midfielder «Midtjylland» Kristoffer Olsson.
On Tuesday it became known that the 28-year-old ex-Krasnodar football player was connected to a ventilator. Olsson collapsed at home and was subsequently transferred to Aarhus University Hospital. The midfielder is suspected of having an acute brain disease not caused by external factors. A team of doctors is currently working to diagnose the Swede and prescribe the correct treatment.
““I reacted very hard to this news. If even in Denmark doctors cannot diagnose and solve such a problem, it’s scary. I can only wish him health, a quick recovery and return to the field. Strength and patience to his family,” — Musaev said.
Olsson moved to Midtjylland in July 2023 from Belgian Anderlecht. From 2019 to 2021, the Swede played for Krasnodar, where he played 80 matches, scored four goals and made 7 assists. He also previously played for the Swedish AIK and the English Arsenal.
