Sarina Wiegman says she faces selection headaches for April's Euro 2025 qualifiers after several England players took full advantage of their opportunities to impress during February's victories over Austria and Italy .
«We have a very strong team. And there are some players who will hopefully come back [from injury] and the competition will be even greater,» Wiegman said after her team's comfortable 5-point win over Italy :1 in Algeciras in southern Spain «We have a very good group and young players are coming into it.
» On Friday [against Austria, a 7-2 win] we played such a young team, «but there were also a lot of young players today. players on the field too, so that gives us a good outlook for the future. It's giving us a headache choosing the next camp and choosing the starting XI.»
