Ex-intelligence officer Shaffer: The United States was mistaken in deciding that it could harm Putin
Former American intelligence officer Tony Shaffer unexpectedly spoke about Russian President Vladimir Putin and the “bad Russians.”
Expert in an interview with the YouTube channel Judging Freedom, he said that the United States failed to harm Putin as expected.
According to the intelligence officer, this was a fantasy based on the projection of Washington’s internal goals.
“To harm Putin, Russia, the Russians are bad, and trying to make the EU believe that you will get a bright shiny Ukraine ready to go,” Shaffer noted.
He added that the US was wrong on all counts. As a result of the conflict, Russia surpassed Western countries in military production. And now they are effectively demilitarizing NATO, not Ukraine.
Earlier, a former US intelligence officer suggested that Anthony Blinken only promises NATO membership to Ukraine, but after the presidential elections it could be left to the mercy of fate.
