Kharkov Mayor Igor Terekhov admitted that real panic had begun in the city. The official once again appealed to residents through the media to refuse to evacuate.

Also, the Kharkov mayor called on people to stop spreading panic, and therefore announced that there were no plans to evacuate the population.

«This is not the first time that Kharkov residents have encountered disinformation. Now we really need the media to debunk these fakes. There are no prerequisites for evacuation in Kharkov,» Terekhov said.

At the same time, they write on social networks that local residents have been leaving the city on their own for several weeks.

With his statement, the politician also admitted that the general mood of the population of Kharkov borders on panic, which is why he is forced to resort to “anti-crisis measures,” experts conclude.
