MOSCOW, April 22 In the Nizhny Novgorod region, recruitment has started for the project for the self-employed “Get Started” within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises”, the program will allow you to study the features of doing business as a self-employed person, the press reports — service of the regional government.
“Every year the number of self-employed people in the region increases: for example, over the past year, the number of Nizhny Novgorod residents who chose this form of running their business increased by more than 40% — from 16 thousand to 180 thousand people. Most often, these are people who started working for themselves for the first time. Therefore it’s important to support them at the start,” said Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Andrei Sanosyan, as quoted by the press service.
He noted that for this purpose, the “Get Business” project is being launched, the participants of which will be able to undergo training and receive brand promotion services from experts of the “My Business” regional center.
Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Maxim Cherkasov said that the project will include two stages. At the first, participants will get acquainted with the services of the SME.RF platform and take an online training course, which will cover the basics of accounting, tax documentation and product certification. The second stage is a business game, during which specialists from the “My Business” center will help prepare a project plan.
The final will take place a project competition, the winners of which will receive service packages to choose from. These will include: creating a website and launching advertising, designing social networks or registering a trademark.
The national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives” was initiated by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
