In Karachay-Cherkessia, investigators organized an investigation after a five-year-old child died from a falling tree in the village of Dombay. The press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the republic informs about the tragedy.

The incident, as specified, happened on Monday near the Muruju River, when “a tree fell on the roadway.” A five-year-old child, who was with his family, died on the spot from his injuries.

Investigators are carrying out verification activities aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
