“The liquidation of open burning has been declared at the site of the fire. 17 country houses were destroyed by fire, including 12 empty buildings. The cause of the fire is being established, investigators from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia are working on the spot” , – the message says.
In Ulan-Ude, residential buildings and outbuildings were burning. The reason for the rapid spread of the fire was a hurricane wind: on Tuesday, the weather in the region was predicted to worsen, with wind speed up to 28 meters per second. The head of Buryatia, Alexey Tsydenov, urgently went to the Burvod and Vostochny microdistricts, where he held a meeting on the spot with members of the republic’s operational headquarters. The prosecutor's office has begun an investigation in connection with fires in Ulan-Ude and suburban areas.
