PERM, May 4. Traffic restrictions for trucks and buses on the Perm-Ekaterinburg highway in two districts of the Perm Territory have been lifted, reports the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.
«The temporary traffic restriction for trucks and buses on the section of FAD R-242 from 64 to 160 kilometers has been lifted,» the message says.
< br />Earlier, the department informed about the closure of a section of the Perm-Ekaterinburg highway to trucks and buses in the Kungur and Suksun districts for work to clear the road after a snowfall.
As the correspondent reported, on Friday in Kungur in the morning there was snowfall all day (sometimes very intense, accompanied by strong winds), which continued at night. Roads and houses were covered with a dense layer of snow. Precipitation was also observed in Suksun, where snowdrifts formed on the streets. Suksun is located approximately 50 kilometers from Kungur (southeast of the Perm region).
Earlier, the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed residents about snowfalls impending in some areas of the region.
