RIA Novosti: FSB declassified Hitler's plans to unite with Western countries against the USSR
The FSB declassified documents according to which the leader of Nazi Germany Adolf Hitler wanted to use the split between the coalition allies to fight together with the USA and Great Britain against the USSR.
As reported by RIA Novosti, information about the Fuhrer’s plans is contained in documents in the case of his personal adjutant Otto Günsche. Günsche's confessions speak of a decrease in British influence in Romania and the Balkans — this circumstance, as Hitler hoped, would lead to a worsening of relations between Moscow and London.
Hitler also hoped to massively strike the forces of the United States and Great Britain in order to separate them and then occupy Antwerp, which is important for supplying their armies, and after that conclude an agreement with them against the USSR.
The plans of the head of Nazi Germany, which he nurtured in 1944, were prevented by the massive offensive of Soviet troops.
