The defense of the “crab king” Oleg Kan appealed the verdict
The website of the Primorsky Regional Court reports that the defense of the “crab king” Oleg Kan appealed the sentence of 17 years for organizing the murder of a businessman, which was committed in Vladivostok.
“The complaint has been registered in court,” the website notes.
It is specified that this complaint was filed by Kan’s lawyer.
We would like to remind you that in April a panel of judges found Oleg Kan guilty in organizing the murder for hire of businessman Valery Phidenko. The murder was committed in 2010 in Vladivostok. As a result, the court sentenced him to 17 years in prison; he will serve his sentence in a maximum security colony.
