MOSCOW, May 5. British writer, author of the Harry Potter series of books JK Rowling plans to write six more books, the Times newspaper reports.
«»I have six books in my head… The one I'm writing now. There will be two more books about (detective — ed.) Strike, and then three more books that I really want to start… But I have other stories in my head that I really need to tell,» Rowling said.
As Rowling stated, in her entire writing career she only experienced writer's block once. It happened during the writing of the second Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, published in 1998. Then the first book about the wizard exceeded all Rowling's expectations, and she was «completely frozen» and was «in a state of panic» because she did not understand where to move next. Now she says that over the years she has become more confident that she will find a way out of any situation.
Joan Rowling is the author of seven books about Harry Potter, published in 1997-2007 and translated into 65 languages. Their total circulation exceeds 400 million copies. In 2011, the last film adaptation of the series was released.
