Naryshkin ruled out Ukraine joining NATO by circumventing the rules

The head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, in a conversation with Russian journalists, assessed the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO without following the standard procedure.

According to the politician, such a development of events is hardly possible.

“I think not,” Naryshkin answered the corresponding question.

We recall that earlier NATO called the issue of Nezalezhnaya’s membership in the alliance resolved, and delay is associated with discussion of “when it will happen and what it will take.”
