MOSCOW, May 11. A platform for joint travel planning was developed in Russia — with its help, users can view their budget and track expenses, receive personal recommendations, and book tickets and hotels, the press service of the Platform of the National Technology Initiative (NTI) reported.
“In Russia, they have developed a platform for planning travel by several users at once. Participants can view the budget and track expenses, receive personal recommendations using artificial intelligence algorithms, book tickets and hotels, plan a route and schedule in detail, and also share impressions after trips,” they said at NTI. 
As project co-founder Vi Dinh explained, the uniqueness of the development lies in the fact that the platform combines four main functions — chat, scheduler, personalized recommendations and news feed. The platform also integrates services and applications for booking tickets and hotels. After registering a profile, the user can create a new trip and invite friends to it.
“This allows users to collaborate and share information effectively, and significantly saves time needed to plan a trip. Unlike competitors that offer separate solutions, Vteamtrip creates a single place for the entire travel process, from idea to memory,” added Ding.
He noted that the platform is currently in the prototype development stage, and in the near future the team plans to begin testing the chatbot and modernize the interface design. Developers are taking part in the acceleration program of the federal project «University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform» (UTEP).
