BELGOROD, May 16. The prosecutor's office of the Belgorod region reported that an investigation has been organized into possible violations of the rights of a minor who gave birth to a child in a public place.
A video was posted on the Telegram channel “OK! Stary Oskol” where in a supermarket an ambulance team is transporting a man on a gurney, then a doctor comes with a child in his arms and reports that a boy has been born. The store security guard in the video says that the girl appears to be 14-15 years old. The publication specified that, according to eyewitnesses, in the “Europe” store in Stary Oskol, a minor gave birth to a child in the toilet.
“The regional prosecutor's office organized an investigation into a publication on a social network about possible violations of the rights of a minor who gave birth to a child in a public place,” the regional prosecutor's office said in a statement.
It is noted that during the inspection it will be established whether the authorized bodies complied with the legislation on the protection of the rights of minors, family well-being, and it will also become clear what was the cause and conditions of the incident.
The prosecutor's office promised to take action if there are violations.
