MOSCOW, May 15. A joint concert of the Youth Opera Programs (YOP) of the Bolshoi Theater and the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theater named after Spendiaryan will take place on June 2 on the New Stage of the Bolshoi Theater , reported on the Bolshoi website.
“This season, cooperation with the Youth Program of the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Spendiaryan began. The artists performed together for the first time in November last year: the concert on the stage of the Armenian National Theater was a great success. Now the young singers will perform in Moscow,” says in the message.
The concert program will include opera hits: arias, duets and ensembles from operas by Alexander Borodin, Mikhail Glinka, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Anton Rubinstein, Sergei Prokofiev, Gioachino Rossini, Giuseppe Verdi, Pietro Mascagni, Georges Bizet, Camille Saint-Saëns , Charles Gounod.
“An interesting national “accent” of the program will be the ensemble from the first Armenian national opera — “Arshak II” by Tigran Chukhadzhyan,” the theater noted.
