LUGANSK, May 19. The “Recognition” circus award will allow you to learn about the stars of the Russian and world circus, said People's Artist of Russia Edgard Zapashny.
On the thirtieth of July, the presentation of the First International Professional Circus Award “Recognition” will take place at the arena of the Great Moscow Circus on Vernadsky Avenue. 
“I am glad that there has already been a great response in the press, a large number of professionals have joined in holding this award. Well, you and I will not only thank the professionals of the first division for reaching such a high level, but also, most importantly, popularize them specifically,” Zapashny said.
He expressed regret that there are not as many famous circus names today as there were in Soviet times.
«You can immediately name several dozen recognizable people, but now, unfortunately, there are not so many, and any event such as holding an award once again helps us to learn about the stars of the Russian and world circus» “, Zapashny explained.
The award was created with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
