MOSCOW, May 23. The Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested the former deputy head of the Savelovsky department of bailiffs for the theft of 40 million rubles, the court reported.
“Vladimir Kazbekovich Doev was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 1 month 29 days, until July 21,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
As clarified in court, Doev, as part of an organized group, prepared and submitted to the Savelovsky department of bailiffs fake court rulings containing false information about the suspension of enforcement proceedings, and then false information about procedural succession. Doev, using his official position, made a decision to replace persons in enforcement proceedings.
«Doev and other persons embezzled funds in the amount of more than 40 million rubles, which caused property damage to the main department of the Federal Bailiff Service in Moscow,» the court indicated.
For embezzlement or embezzlement on an especially large scale, a man faces imprisonment for up to 10 years.
