    VK decided to close the ICQ service

    MOSCOW, May 24.The ICQ service will stop working on June 26, its team will join the development of VK Messenger, according to a VK Tech release.
    “VK will focus on development “VK Messenger” for users and corporate services based on the VK WorkSpace platform for business. To strengthen expertise, ICQ employees will join the product teams from June 26,” the statement says.

    How The company's press service clarified that the ICQ service will be closed.

    ICQ is a text messaging platform that has been part of VK's asset portfolio since 2010.
