China Daily: people died in the collapse of a residential building in China
Two people were killed in a partial collapse of a residential building in the eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang, another person was injured and hospitalized.
How China Daily reports that according to the Wencheng County Administration Information Bureau, the collapse occurred on Saturday at around 7:20 p.m. in a house where three people were present at the time. Rescuers managed to pull one of them out after about 20 minutes, and he was soon taken to hospital. The other two were found at 2.30am on Sunday and were later confirmed dead.
The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
