Shadayev named areas that will change greatly due to digital technologies

MOSCOW, May 25. The areas of healthcare, government administration, and transport infrastructure will change the most due to the development of digital technologies in the next 20 years, said the head of the Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev in time of speech at the PHDays 2 cyber festival.
«I think healthcare will definitely be number one. Probably everything that concerns roads. And, of course, public administration — soon officials will make effective decisions, because they will be helped by artificial intelligence» ,” Shadayev answered the question about industries that will experience a significant leap due to the development of digital technologies in the next 20 years.
According to the minister, digitalization can provide a giant leap in efficiency in every industry.

«Even in education — despite the fact that this is a very conservative area, there are things in which all digital technologies will provide new qualities,» he added.
