NOVIKOM Bank became a laureate of the All-Russian competition of educational programs and educational projects of credit institutions in the interests of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). The organizers of the competition – the Association for the Development of Financial Literacy and the Association of Banks of Russia – highly appreciated the work of the Rostec subsidiary bank in implementing the activities of the program to support SMEs.
NOVIKOM was awarded within the framework of the XXIV All-Russian Banking Conference, the participants of which discussed a wide range of issues, including tools for supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
Working with SMEs is one of the bank’s priority areas of activity. Thanks to its deep expertise and accumulated experience, NOVIKOM offers entrepreneurs effective financial solutions that reduce the cost of borrowing and increase the profitability of their activities. Thus, the bank opens up new opportunities for sustainable development and stable growth of businesses working in cooperation with industrial enterprises.
NOVIKOM also invites business representatives to test new financial instruments, such as digital financial assets, which are gaining more and more popularity in the financial market.
The bank pays special attention to the development of financial literacy and security of SMEs by conducting thematic seminars. This allows entrepreneurs to understand the approaches of credit institutions, speak the same language with banks and choose the most appropriate and most effective tools.
NOVIKOM’s educational project for SMEs has been implemented since 2023. Its first listeners were participants of the Voronezh Industrial Forum and the Army-2023 forum. The events have already been held in eight regions together with the bank’s partners, including the My Business entrepreneurship support centers, the Guarantee Fund of the Samara Region, the South Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the all-Russian public organization “Support of Russia”. In the future, the bank plans to expand the geography of its activities.
The competition was held from January 22 to March 22, 2024. The selection included banks implementing educational programs and awareness-raising projects for SMEs at the federal, regional and/or municipal levels. The winners of the competition will receive free accreditation of their financial literacy facilities and investment literacy programs and will be recommended for replication.
