EKATERINBURG, May 29Residents of the Sverdlovsk village of Berezovka, whose houses were completely burned down, will receive 100 thousand rubles each, the regional information policy department reported.
“The government of the Sverdlovsk region will promptly send a one-time cash payment of 10 thousand rubles for priority needs to each resident whose property was damaged by the fire. Also, in accordance with current legislation, residents of Berezovka whose houses were completely burned down will receive 100 thousand rubles each,” the message says.
< br />On Tuesday afternoon, a large fire started in the village of Berezovka, Sverdlovsk Region, in which ten private houses and outbuildings burned down. The area of the fire was 1.5 thousand square meters, the Sverdlovsk headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. Later, the department added that the fire was extinguished, one person was rescued, and there were no injuries or deaths. The district prosecutor's office began an investigation into the fire.
The head of the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Valery Gorelykh, noted that the fire in Berezovka could have started due to a glass jar, which may have created a lens effect and set fire to dry grass, but now experts are working on other possible versions. The amount of damage caused by the fire to home owners is about 12 million rubles, and people who find themselves homeless are temporarily housed with relatives, the police representative added.
