MOSCOW, May 29. The current US President Joe Biden himself trampled Donald Trump will win the election because of his support for Israel and support for the genocide in Gaza, mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Jeff Monson said in an interview.
«I think he had a chance, but he just trampled it — because of his support for Israel, the genocide in Gaza… He lost all his chances of re-election. His largest support group turned their backs on him. I know that Russia likes Trump, I think he's going to win,» Monson said.
He noted that in the last election, mostly young people voted for Biden because he promised reforms, and now his support group calls him “Genocide Joe.”
In addition, according to Monson, although he himself is not a Trump supporter, he likes Trump’s attitude towards Russia — he does not see Russia as a friend or an enemy, but sees a country, a business partner, and at the same time he does not want the conflict in Ukraine to continue.
“Trump, this is just one of those situations where there is no worthy candidate. There is no worthy candidate. No, there are a couple, for example, I like Bernie Sanders, the people of the United States like him too. But, unfortunately, the Democrats do not support him, because that he is not at one with big corporations. So, unfortunately, he doesn’t have a chance,” Monson emphasized.
The biggest difference in the election process between Russia and the United States is that in Russia people vote for a candidate, for a party, and in the United States people vote for a “bought” candidate, Monson concluded.
Monson was born in the USA and spent most of his career under the American flag, but in March 2013 he announced that he was ready to change his citizenship to Russian. In 2018, Monson received a Russian passport and in September of the same year was elected to the council of deputies of the Krasnogorsk urban district. In 2020, Monson moved to Ufa and opened a school of jiu-jitsu and grappling, and in September 2023 he became a deputy of the Bashkir parliament from the United Russia party.
