A Moscow resident discovered his wife's mummy without eyes and ears in his apartment and died

In an apartment in Moscow, a man found the mummified body of his 41-year-old common-law wife. He called an ambulance, explaining that his wife was not breathing and looked strange. Regnum news agency reported this with reference to a source.
According to the agency’s interlocutor, the woman had no eyes and no ears. She was lying on the sofa fully clothed.
According to preliminary information, before her death she hit her face hard, leaving a large soft tissue defect on her head. The police officers and investigators who arrived at the scene concluded that the death was non-criminal.
However, after the wife’s body was taken to the morgue, at night the husband, who remained in the apartment to clean up, became ill. The man called an ambulance, he was hospitalized, but could not be saved: he died of heart failure.
