MOSCOW, May 30. Former footballer of the Italian Napoli, English Manchester United and French PSG Edinson Cavani announced his retirement from the Uruguay national team.

Cavani 37 years. He has played for the Uruguay national team since February 2008 and won the 2011 Copa America with the team. In total, he has 136 matches and 58 goals scored in the national team. He ranks second in goals in the Uruguay national team, behind ex-Liverpool and Barcelona forward Luis Suarez (68).
