The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI RF) awarded NOVIKOM a victory in the additional category of the competition “Best Banking Program for SMEs — 2024”. The expert council named the bank the best in developing and promoting investment opportunities for business.
Competition “Best banking program for SMEs — 2024″ was held as part of the National Golden Mercury Award. This year, 32 leading credit organizations in Russia competed for the competition awards. In addition to winning in an additional nomination, NOVIKOM entered the top 3 best regional banks with a universal and basic license based on the results of voting by entrepreneurs.
The subsidiary bank of the Rostec State Corporation has been participating in the competition since 2016. In 2023, NOVIKOM was awarded a diploma in the nomination “For the support and development of the high-tech manufacturing sector.”
Working with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is of strategic importance for NOVIKOM, which is focused on working with industrial enterprises and their chain of cooperation. To serve SMEs, the bank has developed not only credit and documentary products, but also liquidity management mechanisms. NOVIKOM also invites small and medium-sized enterprises to test new financial instruments, for example, digital financial assets.
One of the products offered by the SME bank is the «Fixed Rate NSO». In addition to high profitability, the convenience of the product is the ability to place free funds online through the Client-Bank system without the consent of the bank's services.
If it is necessary to place funds for a period of more than 90 days, NOVIKOM offers SMEs a special product — “Flexible Deposit”. Among its advantages are individual agreement on the minimum deposit amount and the calculation of interest at the request of the client.
To organize effective financing, the bank is accredited by all electronic trading platforms where government procurement is carried out. In addition, in order to expand interaction with business in the regions, NOVIKOM signed agreements with many regional funds for supporting industry and entrepreneurship and became a member of the chamber of commerce and industry in 21 regions.
“Last year NOVIKOM intensified its work with SMEs, as a result of which the bank’s loan portfolio in this segment increased by 24%, and guarantee portfolio by 17%. In order to expand work with SMEs this year, we have already formed a separate team. Thanks to this, in the coming years we plan to significantly increase the share of small and medium-sized enterprises in our portfolio. It’s gratifying that our efforts are celebrated at the highest level,” said Denis Esipenok, Senior Vice President and Director of the Small and Medium Business Department.
