MOSCOW, June 5 Festive events in honor of the anniversary of the poet and writer Alexander Pushkin will take place in the capital on June 6, according to the official website mayor and government of Moscow.
«On June 6, it will be the 225th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin. In honor of the anniversary of the great Russian poet and writer, festive events will be held at various venues in the capital: in cultural centers, libraries, parks and many others,» the message says.
To be confirmed , that every year on the poet’s birthday, the estate on Prechistenka and all branches of the A. S. Pushkin Museum are open for free visits from the very morning. Guests can enjoy free exhibitions, concerts, literary and musical evenings.
Thus, in the main building of the museum the large-scale project “Pushkin. 225” continues its work, in the garden pavilion of the museum an exhibition “About Pushkin” will be opened, in the main building of the State Museum of Alexander Pushkin — the Khrushchev-Seleznev mansion on Prechistenka — a festive program will be held, and in The house-museum on Staraya Basmannaya invites visitors to see the exhibition “Escape to Boldino.”
In addition, the ZIL cultural center and the library-reading room named after Alexander Pushkin prepared a large festival program for the poet’s birthday. Thus, on June 8, the library-reading room will host a quest, a lecture “Russian poets of the 20th century in dialogue with A.S. Pushkin”, a performance “Wandering Path” and a concert of the indie group “Silana”.
