MOSCOW, June 6 Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, in his congratulations on Russian Language Day, noted the importance of preserving historical memory, development and popularization of the Russian language, increasing interest in its study, the corresponding text was published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation.
“”Dear friends! Congratulations on Russian Language Day. Today it is especially important to preserve historical memory, develop and popularize the native language. Mishustin added that the holiday is celebrated on the birthday of the great poet Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, whose outstanding works became the standard of literary style and a symbol of the greatness of the Russian language, formed the basis of musical masterpieces and still continue to inspire and fascinate millions of people.
