Head of North Ossetia Menyailo: three Ukrainian UAVs in Mozdok tried to attack a military airfield
The head of North Ossetia Sergei Menyailo said that air defense systems shot down three unmanned aerial vehicles in Mozdok.
“According to preliminary information, the UAVs arrived from the Ukrainian side,” the official said. “Their target was a military airfield.”
According to the head of the region, there were no casualties or destruction. Menyailo promised to provide details later.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that more than a dozen drones were shot down over several regions on Saturday night. According to the report, two UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Rostov region, three over the Belgorod region, one each over the Bryansk and Tula regions, and three more over the Astrakhan region. Five drones were shot down and four intercepted over Crimea, and six over Kuban.
