A six-year-old child was set on fire in a playground in Yakutia

A six-year-old child was set on fire in a playground in Yakutia, REN TV reports.

The child is reported to be alive, but will require treatment. The arson was set by a schoolboy, who explained his actions as a result of a conflict.

According to the mother of the injured child, she saw her son, whose clothes were on fire, while the child was screaming. They managed to tear off the burning clothes, but the child received severe burns and went to intensive care.

According to the schoolboy, he set the child on fire because he showed him the “middle finger.” In turn, the victim says that the schoolboy himself set his T-shirt on fire, promising to “make a kebab out of him.” The culprit confessed to everything, but his family limited themselves to transferring 20 thousand rubles.

Currently, the local unit of the Investigative Committee of Russia has begun checking the incident.
