PETERSBURG, June 9 Component manufacturers in Russia do not need to compete with Chinese ones, they need to cooperate with them and benefit from this benefit, Alexey Semenov, head of the largest manufacturer of unmanned vehicles in Russia, Geoscan company, a participant in the Aeronet NTI market, said in an interview at the last SPIEF-2024.
“We don’t need to compete with them, we need to cooperate with them. Of course, there are technologies that we must own ourselves. But it is impossible to own all the technologies that exist in the world. We must cooperate with the countries of the Global South. We need to offer them the best what we have, and get the best that they have. Perhaps this is exactly what we should bring to the world now — the path of cooperation, not stupid competition,” Semenov said. 
He noted that “of course, all countries have their own game, their own business.” “We should not create illusions that our partners will easily share their best developments. But we definitely need to interact with them. And thank God that this is possible, that they are ready for this,” added the head of the company.
«You shouldn't wait, but take the first step yourself — make world-class high-tech and offer it to partners. Do it yourself — give it to a friend, and your friend will give it to you,» concluded Semenov.
